Newtown Methodist Church

We are located in a quiet corner of Mountain Ash in what was once a thriving village populated mostly by mine workers. In recent years many of the local institutions have closed, but our lovely chapel – built in 1880 with donations from the miners – remains at the core of the community. Sunday worship takes differing formats including traditional, united service, Messy Church and CYTUN (Churches Together in Wales).

Sunday 3pm (Sept – Mar), 6pm (Apr – Aug)

Thursday 10am – 12pm – Coffee Morning
