Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting this Website telling you about the Mid Glamorgan Mission Circuit of the Methodist Church. We are a small group of Churches spread over a large area. Each Church is different, reflecting the community it serves and being served well by local leadership.

We are committed to sharing the story of our faith in the best way we can. Everyone is welcome to worship with us and to be part of our faith community. We are committed to providing safe spaces where people can be themselves and know that they will be respected and valued. We believe that the Christian message of forgiveness and reconciliation is life changing for individuals and communities alike; that a commitment to help and support the most vulnerable in our society is a way of strengthening our communities. We believe that the true measure of a community is in the way those who are most at risk find a place and are encouraged to flourish.

Come and meet us, the times of services can be found in the Churches section of the Website. We trust that together we will be able to journey together and explore where God is leading his people.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all who have contributed to Wheels for Victory aid for Ukraine.

We have received lots of walking aids, tools, medical supplies, baby items and woollen socks and garments. This is a brilliant effort for a worthy cause. Please keep donating/collecting.

God bless you all for your kindness, care and generosity. Mervyn

Following my message about arranging Shoeboxes for Ukraine, Green Street has decided not to do this because of other commitments at this time. However, this does not stop any other church from participating if you wish. I will be happy to co-ordinate the collection of an shoeboxes that churches have.

Shoeboxes should be for both adults and children in Ukraine. Gift items should be new, do not include used or damaged items, war items such as toy guns, knives or any military figures, mouthwash, seeds, hand-made or knitted toys, chocolate or any food other than sweets, chocolate eclairs and chocolate limes are allowed books are mainly words should not be included. A “tick” list will be posted on the site later..

We are now reaching the end of the stationing process and we are aware that there are more stationing posts than presbyters available .The Stationing Team has done its best to offer an honest profile of the Circuit churches.

It is now up to us to ask God through daily prayer, to choose the person that he wants to place in our midst as our next shepherd.

1 JOHN 5: 14-15 ” And this is the confidence that we have towards him,

that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know

that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked him”.
